Canadian ParaToy's Chief Flying Instructor (CFI)

Not fancy but C-IHHQ is all mine.

Hi my name is Howard Erickson

          I'm the CFI for Canadian ParaToy's. I started flying in the 80's ( no I'm not that old) and since then I've flown Planes, Ultra Lights and Powered Paragliders. I have to admit, the powered paraglider gives me that same thrill I got when I did my first solo, every time I fly.

               I have worked as an instructor on Private Pilot Ground schools since 1987. I became a CFI in 2007 when it finally dawned on me that the CFI does less work than an instructor.

                If you are coming down here for your training, we will be spending some time together, so I'll tell you two things you should know about me;

     1.  I hate work, so I make leaning to fly an exciting experience for us both. Any fool can bore you, and over the years I've met "any fool" and been very bored. I swore when I started teaching I would build on my experience and try to make boredom a thing of the past.

 "I try to make learning to fly an Adventure"

Here's an interesting quote:

“There is a point at which everything becomes simple and there is no longer any

question of choice, because all you have staked will be lost if you look back.”

- Dag Hammarskjold -

2. I never look back with regret.

You've wasted enough time now, no regrets,  lets start flying.
